“AMAZA” is a natural hot spring resort in Himi City, Toyama Prefecture, with a limited number of guests per day. Himi is a town with a rich variety of nature, facing the sea and even mountainous areas. Please enjoy the unique experience of this region at our universal design inn, which is gentle to the body and mind.

Universal design space

Although not completely barrier-free, we have designed our accommodations so that everyone can enjoy and feel comfortable. The floor plan is designed for wheelchair accessibility, and every possible consideration has been made to balance functionality and aesthetics.

Please enjoy dishes using fresh ingredients from the sea and mountains of Toyama. We strive to harmonize the body through cooking methods that take advantage of the laws of nature.

Dinner

Dinner is on request. If you wish to have dinner, please select “Plan with breakfast and dinner” on the reservation page. Our staff will bring your meals to your room. We will ask you when you check in for the start time of the meal.

Breakfast

Breakfast can be ordered from either the “Breakfast and Dinner Plan” or the “Breakfast Plan”. The food will be brought to your room by our staff, just like dinner. The time of the start of serving will be requested at the time of check-in.

Natural hot springs
to enjoy surrounded by nature

Enjoy the unique experience of viewing the plants and trees as they change with the seasons, listening to the chirping of wild birds, and other experiences that can only be experienced at that particular moment. There are no buildings or street lights around, so if the weather is fine, you can see the stars in the very dark night sky.

AMAZA Private open-air bath

This is a private open-air bath in the AMAZA facility. It is equipped with a wheelchair-accessible elevator.
The baths are available in 120-minute shifts at night and 90-minute shifts in the morning. The starting time of use will be requested at the time of check-in.

IKEMORI main building bath

The hot spring facilities in the main building are available from 4:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
In the morning, the hot spring facilities are available from 6:00 a.m.

The indoor and outdoor baths in the Ikemori main building are free to use without reservations.

Barrel sauna is available in 120-minute shifts at night and 90-minute shifts in the morning. The starting time of use will be requested upon check-in.

Check in / Check out

Check-in hours are from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Our staff will be waiting for you at the front desk. If you are going to be late for check-in, please be sure to let us know.
Luggage storage is available outside of check-in hours.
Check-out time is until 11:00 a.m. Please inform the front desk of your estimated departure time when you check in.

Pick-up service

We offer a pick-up service for international travelers only. Please contact us in advance if you wish to use this service.

We have put together a video of what you need to know in advance of your stay at AMAZA. We hope you will feel at ease knowing what to expect from the moment you arrive at our hotel until you leave.
